AI Voucher Scan
Which documents can I use with AI Voucher Scan?
You can scan a supplier Invoice as a photo taken with your camera, or as a PDF or image file uploaded from your device.
mazu's AI reads the vendor name, date, line items, amounts, and tax details from the document and fills them into the entry for you.
Can I edit the scanned details before saving?
Yes. Nothing is saved automatically.
After the scan, mazu shows every extracted field on an editable review screen: vendor, date, items, quantities, rates, and tax. Correct anything that was misread, then save.
What happens if a scanned item or vendor doesn't already exist in mazu?
You won't get an error. On the review screen you can either:
- Let mazu create the new item or account using the name read from the document, or
- Map it to an existing item or account you already have.
This means a first-time supplier or a new product never blocks the entry.
Which vouchers can be created using the AI Voucher Scan?
Purchase bills only, for now. Go to Purchase → Bill, start a new bill and click Scan and create with AI. The button is not shown while editing an existing bill, and the scan does not create sales invoices, orders, receipts or payments. The button also shows how many scans you have used this month. The Free plan includes a small monthly allowance; the Growth plan includes 100 scans a month.
