Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want you to feel confident buying mazu. This policy explains when you can get a refund, how to request one, and how it's processed. If anything's unclear, email us at support@mazu.in, and we'll sort it out.

2. Free plan

The Free plan is available at no cost and does not involve any payment. No refunds are applicable.

3. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly plans are billed at the start of each billing cycle.

  • No refunds are issued for monthly subscriptions.
  • If you cancel or stop payment, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, then automatically reverts to the Free plan.
  • There is no partial-month refund for unused days.

4. Annual subscriptions

4.1 7-day full refund window

If you are purchasing an annual mazu subscription for the first time, you are eligible for a full 100% refund if you request it within 7 days of your first payment.

The 7-day refund applies only to the first subscription purchase per account. Renewals, reactivations, and upgrade payments are not eligible.

4.2 After the 7-day window

After 7 days, no refunds are issued for annual subscriptions. However:

  • Your subscription stays fully active until the end of your annual billing period.
  • You can continue using all paid features until the plan expires.
  • At expiry, your account reverts to the Free plan automatically.

4.3 Cancelling an annual plan

If you cancel your annual subscription:

  • Within the first 7 days of your first purchase:
    100% refund to your original payment method.
  • After 7 days:
    No refund. The plan stays active until the end of the annual period, after which it reverts to Free.

5. Extra users

If you have purchased extra user slots on a paid plan:

  • No refunds are provided if you remove or delete an extra user mid-tenure.
  • The user slot remains usable until the end of the paid period, even after the user is removed.
  • Extra users on annual plans are billed annually; on monthly plans, monthly.

6. Plan upgrades

If you upgrade from one paid plan to a higher plan in the future, the upgrade price is calculated as:

Upgrade Price = (New Plan Price – Old Plan Price) × Remaining Period

This ensures you are charged only for the incremental value of the new plan for the time remaining on your current billing cycle.

7. How refunds are processed

All approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method — the same card, UPI ID, or bank account used for the transaction. we do not issue refunds via alternative payment methods.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account.

8. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us within the eligible window:

  • Subject line:
    Refund Request – [your registered email or phone number]
  • Include:
    Your account details, the date of payment, and the reason for your request.

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
